Compass Immunology wishes to advise patients that we are continuing to experience significant delays with some Diater / Ferrer allergy immunotherapy products.
These delays are occurring at the supplier and manufacturing level and are outside Compass Immunology’s control. We understand this is frustrating and disruptive for patients, particularly where treatment has already commenced or where patients are waiting to begin therapy.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty around supply timeframes, our clinical team is now reviewing affected patients to determine whether an alternative immunotherapy product may be more appropriate. In some cases, this may involve arranging a telehealth review with your treating clinician to discuss suitable options and the safest way to transition treatment.
Patients who are close to completing their current treatment course may not need to change products, but this will depend on individual circumstances and clinical advice.
At this stage, Compass Immunology is not commencing new Diater / Ferrer treatment programs unless specifically recommended by the treating clinician. Our priority is to ensure treatment continuity, patient safety, and clear communication about available options.
Affected patients will be contacted directly where a review or treatment change is required. Patients do not need to contact the clinic unless they have an urgent concern about their current treatment plan.
