Late Payments and Service Restriction Information

At Compass Immunology Clinic, we understand that patients may occasionally experience unexpected financial difficulty. If this happens, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your circumstances.
What happens if I miss a payment?

If a payment is missed, please contact us promptly. If we do not hear from you, our team will attempt to contact you by phone or email to arrange payment.
If payment remains outstanding and we are unable to make suitable arrangements:

• A $55 administration fee may be added to your account.
• Your access to Compass Immunology Clinic services may be restricted until the outstanding balance is resolved.
• Ongoing non-payment may result in future appointments being placed on hold or cancelled.
• In some cases, the outstanding balance, together with any accrued administration fees, may be referred to adebt collection agency.
• You may be liable for any reasonable costs associated with recovery of the debt, includingdebt collection costs, solicitor’s fees, and legal fees, where applicable.

Patients whose services have been restricted due to unpaid accounts are not entitled to compensation for any resulting inconvenience or delay.
Are there late fees associated with missed payments?

Yes. A $55 administration fee may be applied to overdue accounts. This is a last resort, and wherever possible, we prefer to work directly with patients to resolve outstanding balances before further action is taken.
Our team will generally attempt to contact you by phone or email to advise that a payment has been missed and to provide an opportunity to arrange payment promptly.
What happens if my account is referred for debt recovery?

We aim to avoid referring accounts for debt recovery wherever possible. However, if payment is not received within the required timeframe and multiple attempts to contact you have been unsuccessful, we may refer the account to a debt collection agency.
If this occurs:

• Your access to services at Compass Immunology Clinic may be suspended or discontinued
• Any future appointments may be placed on hold
• You may be responsible for any additional recovery costs, including debt collection fees, solicitor’s fees, and legal fees, where permitted

To avoid this, please contact our team as soon as possible if you are unable to make payment on time.
