Compass Immunology Late Cancellations / Non-Attendance Policy
At Compass Immunology Clinic, we understand that unexpected circumstances can sometimes prevent patients from attending their appointments. However, due to the high demand for our services and the time allocated to each booking, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Appointment late cancellations or non-attendance
If sufficient notice is not provided, or you do not attend your appointment, a late cancellation / non-attendance fee of $200 will apply.
This fee may either be:
- debited from the credit card provided at the time of booking, or
- payable by issued invoice prior to any future appointments with our clinic.
Appointment reminders may be sent by SMS, email, or phone. Failure to attend a confirmed appointment, or an appointment where reminders were issued but no cancellation was received, may be treated as a non-attendance and the late cancellation / non-attendance fee may apply.
The 48-hour notice period is based on clear business days and excludes weekends and public holidays. For example, to cancel a Monday appointment without incurring a fee, notice must be given before the same time on the preceding Thursday.
Allergen injection appointments
Allergen injection appointments require dedicated clinical staffing and preparation time.
If you cancel with insufficient notice or do not attend a scheduled allergen injection appointment, a**$30 cancellation / non-attendance fee** may apply.
How to cancel or reschedule
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please email reception@compass.clinic at any time, whether during or outside business hours. An automatic reply will confirm receipt of your message.
If you are unwell with a contagious illness, please do not attend in person. We will do our best to offer suitable alternatives, such as a telehealth consultation, where appropriate.
Non-attendance without notice prevents other patients from accessing care. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us provide timely care to the community.
